Espresso De Barako is built from two distinct Philippine coffees—highland Robusta from Mt. Apo and single-estate Liberica (Barako) from Cavite—crafted to deliver a bold, full-bodied espresso with depth and structure.
The Mt. Apo Robusta brings strength, crema, and a deep bittersweet backbone. The Cavite Liberica adds complexity—woody aromatics, spice, and a naturally lingering finish. Together, they create a cup that is heavy, grounded, and unmistakably different from traditional espresso profiles.
Sourced directly from farmers in the Philippines and roasted in California, this blend represents a return to origin—coffee built with intention, not commodity.
Low in acidity and rich in character, Espresso De Barako is designed for espresso but performs just as well in moka pot and drip brewing.
