Named after Teofilo himself, Teofilo Coffee Company was established in 2017.
After listening to stories about the existence of Filipino coffee, Teofilo's grandson, Ron Dizon, became inspired and motivated to learn more about what Filipino coffee had to offer to the world. In pursuit of how this resonated with him, he started to build this family business from the ground up.
The land in the Philippines is rich in soil in many of its regions. As an easy comparison, this soil could be mistaken as Hawaiian volcanic soil, however, the Philippines holds various qualities and characteristics of coffee that exceed the average coffee origins that we all know of today such as Guatemala, Brazil, Italy, and Kenya.
