The Bokod bean is a single-origin coffee grown in the Cordillera highlands of the northern mountains of the Philippines. This is the main farming crop in the Benguet province and specifically comes from farms around Daclan, where its climate is highly suitable for Arabica cultivation. This area is heavily forested with Pine and Alnus trees which are responsible for that deep rich flavor.
The Bokod is listed in the Ark of Taste International catalog of Endangered Heritage Foods by The Slow Food Movement.
Care Instructions & Returns
For optimum freshness, refrigerate your coffee in a sealed bag. Removing as much air as possible from the bag will extend your coffee's shelf-life and preserve flavor.
